Carla Vinciullo
Carla is a highly regarded employment lawyer who supports employer-clients in the management of their employee and industrial relations issues. Carla practices in all aspects of workplace relations law assisting clients with everything from pro-active compliance measures, day-to-day employment issues, dispute resolution through to high-level strategic advice. Carla regularly advises businesses on a wide range of industrial relations issues, such as industrial relations strategy, enterprise agreement bargaining and industrial disputes.
She has significant experience in assisting clients with compliance including Fair Work Ombudsman audits, defending unfair dismissal and adverse action claims and privileged investigations as well as self-assessment, auditing and pro-active compliance strategies.
Carla advises complex legal issues relating to contractual breaches, jurisdiction, award interpretation and statutory breaches.
Carla has significant experience in all employment-related litigation, including before the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Court, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and State and Territory courts, tribunals and commissions.
She has advised employer-clients (ranging from small to global) from the public and private sector as well as local governments and not for profits.
Carla has a practical, strategic “cut-to-the-chase” approach, informed by years of experience including in top tier law firms in Sydney and Perth, as well as in-house roles with Qantas and UGL.
