I have 19 years’ HR experience working with global firms and small businesses, in the public and private sectors. After 17 years as an in-house HR expert, I spent 18 months running my own HR consultancy, commuting for hours daily and travelling to see clients across South West Australia.

I am thrilled to be part of The HR Dept network. In addition to the company being a respected and established model, I also have the flexibility to be able to offer a unique blend of tried-and-tested principles, practices and tools, combined with my extensive knowledge of contemporary HR.

I needed additional flexibility in my first couple months as result of closing a HR consultancy, while rolling out my new business. All of which was not an issue for the HR Dept, I have always been offered exceptional support and guidance.

Getting back to grass roots and supporting my community, I am excited about the opportunity to give back to the communities that I have lived in and supported for a number of years.

I believe any business should support their community and my personal mantra is to live, buy and support local.

I plan to grow my business over the next two years, owning more than one territory, employing a team of local HR professionals to support this growth.

I do not feel as if I am on my own. I have worked as a consultant, running my own consultancy which can be very lonely without a network or sounding board to turn to.

I am very fortunate to work with two fabulous franchisees in WA, we meet monthly and work on joint projects when needed. As well as the national framework of course, who also provide advice and general support when needed.
